Warehouse Air Conditioning Canberra
Warehouses are one of the toughest HVAC challenges — huge volumes, high ceilings, roller doors, and workers scattered throughout.
We design and install a mix of packaged units, high-wall cassettes, destratification fans, and evaporative systems for Canberra industrial estates.

Common challenges
- High ceilings — stratification
- Roller doors constantly opening
- Cost — full refrigerated is expensive at scale
How we solve them
- Destratification fans + spot-cooling
- Evaporative for cheaper large-volume cooling
- Refrigerated only in staff and office zones
FAQs
Design around how the premises operate
High ceilings, roller doors and local workstations create very different loads from enclosed offices. Conditioning the whole building may be unnecessary or impractical.
Separate occupied office zones from the warehouse floor and consider ventilation, local cooling and air movement. Evaporative cooling changes humidity and requires suitable ventilation; its suitability depends on products stored, work activities and weather.
Define access, commissioning and ongoing care
Confirm roof access, lifting requirements, plant clearances and safe work arrangements around vehicle movements before deciding on rooftop equipment.
The proposal should identify model numbers, design assumptions, electrical scope, drainage, controls and any exclusions. Request the relevant drawings, commissioning records and operating instructions as part of the agreed handover. Specialist compliance requirements must be confirmed for the actual building and application; a general service page cannot certify a site.
For preventative maintenance, specify equipment covered, visit frequency, reporting, repair approval limits and response arrangements. Pricing depends on existing plant, site access and operating constraints. Discuss these details during an onsite assessment rather than treating a generic price band as a completed commercial quote.
